Come out and celebrate the end of another summer season with Bushplane Days 2008! Exhibits from all areas of aviation will be represented. Look out for another fantastic CL-415 waterbombing demonstration (subject to availability) as well as chartered flights with Air Dale. Other past exhibitors have included local artists Cher Pruys and Steven Daly, Sault Search & Rescue, the SSM Fire Department, and much more! Face painting, crafts, carnival games and train rides with the Algoma Model Engineers Society for kids of all ages!

The Bushplane Museum is hosting its 4th annual Wings and Wheels Car Show on Sunday, June 15th from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Over 60 cars will be on display, including streetrods, muscle cars, antiques, exotics, trucks, motorcycles and much more! Among these beautiful cars you can enjoy over 30 interactive aircraft exhibits as well! Don't forget to take a ride in our flight simulator or enjoy our 4-D flying adventure "Wings Over the North"!

Bushplane Days are the Museum's longest-running and most successful annual event. This year, Bushplane Days focused on its roots - aviation - in an air-themed showcase of local and regional accomplishments in the worlds of flight and forestry.

On August 16, 2007, The Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre celebrated the sixtieth birthday of the deHavilland DHC-2 Beaver. CF-OBS, the second Beaver off the production line, is the oldest still airworthy Beaver in the world, and now makes its home at the Bushplane Museum.

Our third annual Wings and Wheels Car Show, held on June 9 & 10th, 2007, was a great success! We had almost 60 cars registered; all makes, models and years were represented. Get ready for an even bigger and better Show next year in the summer of 2008!
