Royal North West Mounted Police on PatrolIn Western Canada, the Royal North-West Mounted Police (RNWMP) undertook the task of wildfire patrol, in addition to their duties as peace officers. The following report graphically describes the conditions Sergeant Anderson encountered on his patrol.
