March Break Fun @ Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre
March 1, 2010- The Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre (CBHC) is pleased to annouce 1/2 price admission throughout the March Break.
From Friday, March 12th to Sunday, March 21st, half-price admission will be offered to all CBHC visitors. With a fully interactive Children's Flight Centre, aviation exhibits including 24 aircraft, our Object and Ranger theatre films ("Wings over the North" and "Bush Angels") and more, there is something for everyone at CBHC. Pop in for a visit, seven days a week, from 10 am to 4 pm.
The CBHC is a unique centre devoted to preserving the history of Bush Flying and Forest Protection in Canada. Volunteer memebers actively acquire, restore, preserve and display floatplanes, bushplanes, waterbombers, and forest firefighting equipment along with other aviation and forestry-related artifacts in order to celebrate the achievements of Canada's aviation and forest firefighting pioneers. Thousands of people have had the pleasure of learning of the contribution of bush pilots and these machines to life in Northern Canada.
