Wonder what other say about us? Check out Trip Advisor or Google

We are always excited to get a review  on Trip Advisor, Google or facebook.  Even if it is not a 5 star, it lets us know what we can do to make a visitors experience more enjoyable.  The Canadian Bushplane Heriage Centre is proud to say we have the Award of Excellance and Hall of Fame Awards from Trip Advisor and Best Business Award from Three Best Business in Sault Ste. marie, Ontario.

Here is what a recent visitor had to say:

5 star ratings on Goolgle

Kathleen: Had the most amazing time. Was able to meet a volunteer who showed such passion for what he did. Shared the history and culture and love of the planes he worked on. Thank you for sharing!

Jesse: Awesome place for airplane lovers. The bush fire video is great.

Jacob:  Awesome. Kids loved it. So did I!

The Sault’s most visited attraction  5 star rating  August 7, 2019

Truly enjoyed our experience. This is more then a passive museum. You are immersed in the world of bush planes. The two movies are excellent. Who doesn’t love a copilot dog riding in a Beaver plane? In the newer Wildfire film, you feel part of the crew, scooping lake water and dumping thousands of gallons on fires out of control. Was it my imagination that I actually smelled smoke? Definitely you can feel the strong wind as the plane lifts off! As we live in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula smoke from Canadian wildfires is common in the summer. I will never think the same way when that familiar haziness obscures our lake. Will be thinking and praying for those brave fire crews both in the air and on land. Besides the movies, you can actually enter the inside of planes. Each plane has a written story. My husband has actually been a passenger on Otter and Beaver bush planes when fishing remote Canadian locations. I knew this was a must see for him. Just didn’t know how much I would get into it! So glad we made Sault Ste Marie’s most visited attraction a part of our vacation.

Perfect for all Ages!    5 Star Rating

Visited today with the whole family: me, hubby, daughter 5 years old, son almost 3 and grandma (who can't walk for long). The centre is perfect for all Ages. Plenty of benches/seats for grandma. Most displays have some sort of hands on element for the kids. Display are informative and interesting. I really enjoyed the specific histories and travels of each individual plane. What would typically be an ok experience in a pretend fire tower at most other facilities is turned into an interactive take action display. The kids have the opportunity to actually spot fires and radio them in. We had to tear our son out of the tower! The staff are very friendly, facilities are clean, gift shop has a neat variety of things. Tip for First Time Visitors: If you plan to spend most of the day make sure to pack some lunch and/or snacks. In the summer there is an outdoor picnic area over looking the water. We will be back! Wide open space

Fascinating museum! Interactive displays include technical information plus stories behind the planes and the pilots. The movies were enjoyable and a must-see. We met friendly and knowledgeable staff - Ann, Mitch and John. Will visit again.

Spent a few hours here with my dad. Enjoyed the history and information about the planes. Definitely worth the $. The hanging red and white plane, a Taylorcraft is similar to the plane my grandfather flew during WWII. He was a Civil Air Patrol trainer in SSM, MI.

Staff are nice and knowledgeable. The tours are fun and informed. Great place to take kids. The place is very clean.

Wonderful museum. I will return again, and again.
