The Science of Flight

The Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre teaches a curriculum-specific Flight Unit for all Grade Six students in Ontario.  This new, special program is taught in-house at the Centre and is comprised of:

  1. A 30-minute teaching session which will include discussions and science experiments, covering:
    - Properties of Air
    - Characteristics of Flight
    - Bernoulli's Principle
    - Parts of an Airplane
    - How Aircraft Fly
  2. A one-hour, interactive tour of the Museum, its exhibits, hands-on activities, and aircraft;
  3. A showing of Wings Over the North, our 4-D movie presentation in the Object Theatre.
