The Reliant was known as the "gull-wing" Stinson. It was part of the air service fleet from 1937 until its sale to Green Airways of Red Lake in 1948. In the spring of 1979 CF-BGN was burned in a grass fire set by vandals. It was restored as a ground display by the volunteers of the Centre.

 it was nicknamed the "Gull-wing" due to its elegant tapered wings.  first water bombing in history by Carl Crossley.
 it was popular with executives for its leather covered inside.
 considered the Cadillac amongst planes in the 1930's.
 it had no heating system and the system had to be heated by blow torch before it would start in the winter.
