Welcome Teachers!

Educational Mandate:
To work with the volunteers, staff and local school boards to create a positive educational experience for students and teachers and to promote the CBHC facility and resources as an educational tool; to meet curriculum requirements and educational expectations for relevant subject areas in all grades.

The Bushplane Museum is committed to offering quality education to local and regional schools, whether that be in the classroom, or here in the Museum. Our Museum is unique in that it is 100% interactive, with a strong focus on science (specifically, the science of flight).  We also offer tours geared towards social science and history units; all tours are tailored to the needs of the teacher.

Planning a tour to the Museum? We appreciate your visit, and sincerely hope you enjoy yourselves while you are here.

Costs of Tours:

Tours of the Bushplane Centre are completely flexible; we can tour your class for one or two hours, or longer!  You can even have lunch in our picnic area or in the hangar itself on rainy/snowy days at no additional cost (food not provided).

$2.00 per child

If you have a group of more than 50 students, teach an Adult Education or Career Skills class, or are a home-school teacher, please call Donna at (705)945-6242 to get a more accurate price.
